KOŠARAC: KONAKOVIĆ SHOULD EXPLAIN WHY A SERB HOLDS ONLY ONE MANAGEMENT POSITION

SARAJEVO, AUGUST 7 /SRNA/ – Council of Ministers Deputy Chair Staša Košarac says Foreign Minister Elmedin Konaković, given that he invokes the principle of constituent status, should explain why a Serb holds only one management position in this ministry.

"Since he is making such a fuss and holding conferences about the representation of constituent peoples, Konaković could explain why, out of seven management positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, only one is held by a Serb - even that one is held by ministerial authorization, meaning temporarily," Košarac posted on X.

Košarac noted that Konaković obviously has his own way of interpreting the principle of constituent status.

Konaković has stated today that equality of the constituent peoples is the foundation of the survival and stability of BiH, which must also be guaranteed through fair representation in government bodies at all levels, claiming that "Bosniaks are the ones who are most disadvantaged".
