KOŠARAC: KONAKOVIĆ IS THE BIGGEST LOSER OF ELECTION

SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 7 /SRNA/ - Elmedin Konaković is the biggest loser of the elections because he allowed former US Ambassador Michael Murphy and Christian Schmidt to turn him into a political guinea pig, Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac said.

Košarac said all political interests had been pursued through Konaković until Murphy and Schmidt took control of him.

He added that Konaković wanted the formation of a new government to be delayed for as long as possible so that he could remain in his ministerial post, but said that was his problem.

"We are moving on. That is why I said he might consider going to kiss Milorad Dodik's hand, if Dodik would accept it, so that this Council of Ministers remains in a caretaker capacity for as long as possible," Košarac told reporters after Konaković accused SNSD of alleged obstruction of the work of the joint institutions.

Košarac said representatives of the Serb people, united around the policies of President Dodik and the institutions of Republika Srpska, would implement only policies aimed at benefiting Republika Srpska and the Serb people
