KOŠARAC: FLAG-BURNING INCIDENT CONFIRMS COEXISTENCE IN BiH IS IMPOSSIBLE

SARAJEVO, JUNE 26 /SRNA/ – Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac said he was appalled by footage showing the burning of the Republika Srpska flag, describing it as further proof that BiH is an unworkable country and that coexistence is impossible.

Košarac told SRNA that such radicalization and acts of vandalism were absolutely unacceptable and must be sanctioned without delay.

"With this, Sarajevo is sending us a more than clear message - there is no place here for Serbs. They hypocritically claim they want BiH, yet this confirms that they do not respect the identity of the Serb people in BiH," Košarac stressed.

He added that false narratives and attacks on the Serb people could not destroy the Serbian national identity, dignity or right to exist.

"For days we have been seeing wartime flags and symbols of the so-called Army of BiH, while listening to false narratives from Sarajevo about respect for multiethnicity, coexistence and the like," Košarac warned.

He concluded by saying that "the boundary exists."

"We are not one. The boundary exists! We have what is ours, you have what is yours. We are not interested in anything that belongs to you. That is the reality," Košarac concluded.

A video circulating on social media appears to show a group of individuals removing the Republika Srpska flag from a flagpole and then setting it on fire while shouting "Allahu Akbar" and using profanity.

According to media reports from the Federation of BiH, the flag had been flying on a flagpole erected along the Inter-Entity Boundary Line between Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH.
