SARAJEVO, SEPTEMBER 15 /SRNA/ - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac told the EU Delegation not to lecture others on the Dayton Agreement, the Constitution and the rule of law, as it has lost all credibility to present itself as an impartial partner.

Košarac said that Luigi Soreca and the EU Delegation had openly supported Christian Schmidt's anti-Dayton actions and legal violence, the dismantling of the Dayton constitutional order, the trampling of the democratic will of the Serb people and the political persecution of the legitimately elected President of Republika Srpska.

"That is why they have lost all credibility to present themselves as an impartial partner. They have sided exclusively with one side in BiH, almost always against Republika Srpska and the interests of the Serb people," Košarac stressed.

He recalled that Republika Srpska was established on January 9, 1992, in peacetime, defended during the Defensive-Patriotic War, and received international confirmation of its existence and constitutional competences through the Dayton Agreement.

He noted that Dayton clearly established that BiH consists of two entities and three constituent peoples, and that anyone undermining that balance is not defending Dayton but destroying it.

"Gentlemen from the EU Delegation, Republika Srpska has its constitutional capacity and will not give up a single competence that belongs to it under the Constitution. There is no political pressure or any process that can force us to relinquish our constitutional rights," Košarac said on Instagram.

He stressed that they do not respect the policies of Republika Srpska, adding that Republika Srpska must be respected.

"Republika Srpska is not asking for anything more than what is guaranteed to it by Dayton, but it will not accept a millimetre less," Košarac said categorically.

The EU Delegation said that it "stands firmly by the sovereignty, integrity, constitutional order and territorial integrity of BiH".
