SARAJEVO, SEPTEMBER 7 /SRNA/ - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac said today that Elmedin Konaković does not decide on BiH's foreign policy, but rather the Presidency of BiH, and that without the consent of Serb Presidency member Željka Cvijanović, no decision can be made, including the one Konaković hopes to see.
"Konaković's attempt to possibly withdraw a driver and several administrative staff from the Embassy in Belgrade would be nothing more than a pre-election maneuver," Košarac wrote on Instagram following Konaković's statement that BiH's relations with Serbia should be reduced to a minimum and staff withdrawn from the Embassy in Belgrade.
He said that Konaković was desperately trying to sell this blatant absurdity to the Bosniak public as some kind of statesmanlike achievement or diplomatic revolution.
Košarac said that Konaković should learn that desperation is a poor adviser.
"The election campaign has begun, and he apparently thinks that by making a lot of noise, he can hide the fact that his political reach falls far short of his ambitions," Košarac said.
