EAST SARAJEVO, JULY 15 /SRNA/ – SNSD representative in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Milorad Kojić told SRNA that it is evident that Minister of Foreign Affairs and People and Justice party leader Elmedin Konaković is the biggest pro-Bosnian for his own gain and private interests.
Kojić pointed out that since becoming a minister, Konaković has been associated with numerous scandals, including unlawful payments for lobbying and alleged ties to drug cartels.
He also referenced recent reports concerning the ministry headed by Konaković, involving the misuse of donor funds from a foreign embassy.
"Just as BiH has fallen apart, so too has the ministry headed by Konaković, which is accurate reflection of Bosniak foreign policy, where he portrays himself as the `Tito of foreign affairs` and a promoter of a unitary BiH," Kojić added.
Kojić emphasized that such behaviour has never been tolerated, nor will be, by the leadership of Republika Srpska, especially not from individuals who, he claims, aim to create a unitary BiH while also enriching themselves.
The State Investigation and Protection Agency /SIPA/ is currently investigating the financing of Elmedin Konaković's People and Justice party, at the request of the BiH Prosecutor's Office.
SIPA has been instructed to carry out this inquiry as part of the Black Tie investigation, amid allegations, as reported by Avaz, that the party may have been funded with a drug cartel money.
