BANJA LUKA, MAY 17 /SRNA/ - Retired Colonel of the Republika Srpska Army, Rajko Knežević, believes that any activity by individuals connected to the Wahhabi movement or its remnants represents a serious security problem in this region and BiH, noting that the Serbian people are concerned about this but not afraid.
Knežević told SRNA that the existence of any armed formations outside the Constitution and entity laws is a security problem.
"Unfortunately, such formations, which exist in BiH, are not new and did not arise on their own. They are nurtured by their own 'authorities.' In fact, the parallel institutions they have, have been operating continuously since the war," Knežević warned.
He says that by law, under no circumstances should any members of the Wahhabis be present in the territory of BiH or areas under the jurisdiction of the Armed Forces.
He said that various associations involved in so-called "shooting sports," as well as scouting units formed in connection with them, also pose a security problem.
Knežević, a former commander of the Third Infantry /Republika Srpska/ Regiment of the BiH Armed Forces, said that the authorities of Republika Srpska must and should file a criminal complaint against the Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers, Zukan Helez, due to his interference in foreign policy, statements, and ongoing actions constituting a criminal offense.
The Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers, Zukan Helez, is building Hamas and Hezbollah within the BiH Armed Forces to turn them into a Muslim army, claims security expert Dževad Galijašević.
He told SRNA that Helez supports Wahhabism and allows members of that movement to practice shooting at the military training grounds of the Armed Forces.
