SARAJEVO, JUNE 24 /SRNA/ - The threats made by SDA President Bakir Izetbegović are nothing more than a reflection of his complete despair and inability to oppose, in any meaningful way, the sovereign policies of SNSD leader Milorad Dodik, which protect the Serbian national interest and strengthen the position of Republika Srpska in the new geopolitical relations, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac told SRNA.

"To whom is the weak Bakir sending a message when he says that Dodik must be dealt with by some kind of force?" Košarac asked.

He stressed that the citizens of Republika Srpska stand behind Dodik and his policies, and that this is a reality that political Sarajevo is still unable to accept.

"That is a strength against which neither Bakir nor the rest of political Sarajevo can stand, no matter how submissively they may beg for intervention from the so-called international community," Košarac said.

He believes that Bosniak politics has not yet understood the new global circumstances, nor does it know how to position itself in a multipolar world.

"Instead of political maturity and taking responsibility, Bosniak politics continues to expect some foreigner to deliver its political goals. That time has passed," Košarac stressed.

Košarac expressed hope that the SDA leader will eventually understand this as well, and until then, that "paper tiger" is left to threaten a political heavyweight, in the hope that the Sarajevo čaršija will once again say, "Well done, Bakir, you told him off."

"Everyone has their role - the čaršija to talk, and Republika Srpska to do its job and move towards its goal," Košarac said.
