SARAJEVO, JUNE 30 /SRNA/ - Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Marinko Čavara said today that it is absolutely unacceptable for the Bosniak and Croat members of the BiH Presidency to call on foreigners to act as a deciding factor in relations between the three constituent peoples or to manage national monuments in BiH.

Speaking about an unconstitutional attempt to appoint members of the Commission to Preserve National Monuments, Čavara stressed that those who want foreigners to run their country are not fit to govern it.

"They want to be someone’s puppet, for someone else to make decisions, or to use foreigners to outvote the other two constituent peoples, and that is absolutely unacceptable," Čavara told reporters in Sarajevo.

Serb member of the Presidency of BiH Željka Cvijanović said that the National Assembly of Republika Srpska will have the final say on the decision regarding the appointment of members of the Commission to Preserve National Monuments, which she declared yesterday to be destructive to the vital national interest of Republika Srpska after it was adopted at a Presidency session without a quorum.

Cvijanović said that the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Denis Bećirović, who proposed the decision, had acted unlawfully, and that constitutional and procedural rules were violated on multiple occasions during the Presidency session.
