INTERPOL SAYS IT'S POLITICAL PERSECUTION, THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH FOR ANY REASONABLE PERSON

BANJA LUKA, JUNE 7 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik says that the fact Interpol has recognized the case against him as political persecution says enough for anyone reasonable.

Dodik said he had not read the statement from the “Troika” coalition regarding his second-instance verdict, adding that, to him, this is abroad.

"The lawyers believed we should go through the appeals process to reach the European Court and European institutions, and have that shameful political trial annulled there, since there is no trust in the objectivity of the court," Dodik told reporters in Banja Luka.

He added that when political interference is added to the mix, it shows what this entire situation looks like.

"The very fact that Interpol said that these are political persecutions says enough to any reasonable person; but what can we do when you have people like that over there," Dodik said.
