HELEZ IS JUST COMPETING TO SHOW HIS HATRED FOR SERBS, BUT HE IS POWERLESS

PRNJAVOR, SEPTEMBER 10 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik said that Serbs, as Orthodox Christians, have observed burial rites for centuries, while Zukan Helez is merely competing to show his hatred for the Serbian people and is contributing neither to stability nor to anything that could help preserve BiH.

When asked about Zukan Helez once again threatening Republika Srpska, announcing its abolition, and saying that he knows what he has to do, Dodik said that Helez would not tell Serbs what they can and cannot do.

"That is something his drunken mind came up with, and he thinks that the more he barks, the more likely he is to get noticed. At the same time, they want to say that they are fighting for BiH. Which BiH?" Dodik asked.

Dodik said he believed Helez was probably also competing during this election campaign to show off how smart he is.

"Considering his drunken, crazy mind, I think he contributes neither to stability nor peace. He does not contribute to anything that could help preserve BiH," Dodik said.

He stressed that BiH is being divided and falling apart like a corpse that cannot be put back together.

"When you are at the stage of a corpse, it is over. The next stage is decomposition. That is BiH. And they can use their rigged courts to persecute whoever they want, but we will see how far they can go," Dodik said.

He believes Helez will not keep doing this for long either, but that whenever there is an opportunity to display hatred towards Serbs or Serbia, he competes to outdo everyone else, but does not deserve attention because he is powerless.

According to Dodik, Helez has no authority and does not represent BiH, and when he speaks on his own behalf, he shows that he is "just a fool" who cannot say anything meaningful except insult Serbs.

Dodik said that Rasim Delić, who was convicted of crimes against Serbs, was buried in the Federation of BiH, while others are lectured on the matter.

He stressed that the funeral of General Ratko Mladić was a religious, Orthodox Christian ceremony, and pointed out that Serbs have observed this rite for centuries.

"He must know, since he does not, that we light candles for both the living and the dead. And that in our churches we pray equally for the living and the dead. I am not interested in their rites. I respect everyone. But this hysteria that is taking place is not just about how they want to reduce it to Mladić; it is about BiH," Dodik said.

He pointed out that the Islamic Community in BiH is involved in politics, as all three candidates for its leader had to include a section in their programs called the political program.

"So, the Islamic religious community is engaged in a political program. What do you think would happen if one of our bishops said, `Here is my political program`? How would that be viewed?" Dodik asked, adding that they write that BiH is their country and that they are fighting for it.

Dodik said that the self-styled multi-ethnic party in Sarajevo had brought Vojin Mijatović over from Banja Luka and got him involved in criminal activity, and that they are now going after him.

"I do not feel sorry for Mijatović, but I look at it differently. You bring him from Banja Luka and glorify him as some deity who came from Banja Luka, and then you file a criminal complaint against him. Of course, God forbid he gets away with it," Dodik said.

Dodik stressed that he would never go to Sarajevo again, unless he absolutely had to, under some form of coercion.

"For me, that is the Far East — not the Near East, but the Far East. There is nothing there that would be of interest to Serbs. There is nothing there that we can expect," Dodik said.
