MOSTAR, JANUARY 5 /SRNA/ - The Serb member of the Presidency of BiH Željka Cvijanović, said that today is not only a great day for Herzegovina and Trebinje, where a new hospital is being opened, but also a great day for Republika Srpska and its health sector.
Cvijanović emphasized that this is one of the facilities representing an upgrade of everything that has been done with the aim of making the health sector as strong as possible, providing high-quality services to patients, while also ensuring good working conditions for healthcare professionals in the Republic of Srpska.
"We are building the Republic of Srpska and taking care of all parts of it and the needs of its citizens," Cvijanović told reporters at Mostar Airport, where she welcomed Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.
She stressed that the hospital in Trebinje is not merely a structure of steel, concrete, and glass, but represents a new era in healthcare in Herzegovina.
Cvijanović said that support from Serbia, including the support of President Vučić, is extremely important.
"Just as we rejoice in Serbia's successes, Serbia rejoices in the successes of Republika Srpska, and that is why we are all here today," Cvijanović said.
During his working visit to Herzegovina, Vučić will first visit the Monastery of Saint Vasilije of Tvrdoš and Ostrog in Mrkonjići together with the leadership of Republika Srpska, and then attend the opening of the new hospital in Trebinje.
