SARAJEVO, MARCH 25 /SRNA/ - Member of the Joint Defense and Security Committee in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Sanja Vulić stated that the threatening graffiti on the Pazarić barracks buildings represents a direct attack on institutions and citizens' security, and expressed particular concern that such messages are appearing on military facilities.
Vulić strongly condemned the appearance of inappropriate and disturbing graffiti, emphasizing that military facilities must be a symbol of order and professionalism, not a space for spreading hatred, provocations, and divisions.
She expects an urgent and decisive response from the competent authorities, rapid determination of responsibility, and punishment of the perpetrators in accordance with the law.
"Any delay or downplaying of such incidents sends the wrong message and further undermines public trust," Vulić told SRNA. She is the head of the Caucus in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH and made these remarks regarding the graffiti on the walls of the Pazarić barracks bearing the message "Death to Serbs, Bosnia to Bosniaks".
She emphasized that it is time to clearly draw a line and make it clear that such acts will not and must not be tolerated.
Vulić emphasized that institutions must demonstrate authority and the ability to protect public spaces, because any other approach would amount to tacit approval of unacceptable behavior.
"Is BiH a Dayton-based state? Let the public decide for themselves," Vulić said.
