GOGANOVIĆ: SRPSKA - RUSSIA STRONG RELATIONS CONFIRMED THROUGH OFFICIAL VISITS

SARAJEVO, APRIL 22 /SRNA/ – Deputy Minister of Defence in the Council of Ministers Aleksandar Goganović has met today in Sarajevo with the Defence Attaché of the Russian Federation to BiH Brigadier Ilya Skrebnev to discuss the complex geopolitical situation and its impact on the region and BiH, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a constructive and open exchange of views, both within the country and in the region.

The meeting participants assessed that current circumstances require additional effort in understanding mutual interests, as well as greater flexibility in finding joint solutions aimed at preserving peace and stability.

Regarding BiH, Goganović stressed that respect for the Dayton Peace Agreement and mutual dialogue are key prerequisites for stability and progress.

After the meeting, Goganović told SRNA that strong partnership relations between Republika Srpska and the Russian Federation are also confirmed through visits by high-ranking officials, including the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, as well as the announced attendance of President Milorad Dodik at the May 9 parade in Moscow.
