GOGANOVIĆ: REPUBLIKA SRPSKA ATTACHES GREAT IMPORTANCE TO RELATIONS WITH CHINA

SARAJEVO, SEPTEMBER 10 /SRNA/ - Deputy Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers Aleksandar Goganović said at a reception marking the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China that Republika Srpska attaches great importance to relations with China and that they will continue and will be further strengthened.

“The Chinese people and the leadership of the People’s Republic of China have always shown friendship and understanding towards the Serbian people,” said Goganović, who attended the reception in Sarajevo at the invitation of Chinese Ambassador Li Fan.

He stressed that much of the credit for the strong relations between Republika Srpska and China goes to President Milorad Dodik, who has spent years working diligently to build friendly relations with the Chinese leadership.

“We will continue to foster such a policy of friendship and mutual respect,” Goganović added.

He stressed that China is an important international partner and that there is considerable scope for further enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Along with Goganović, the ceremony was also attended by Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces Colonel General Gojko Knežević and Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces Operational Command for Operations Brigadier General Nebojša Bošnjak.
