GALIJAŠEVIĆ: GLORIFYING ALIJA IZEBEGOVIĆ IS TANTAMOUNT TO GLORIFYING JIHAD, TERRORISM, AND BREAKUP OF THE COUNTRY

EAST SARAJEVO, AUGUST 9 /SRNA/ - Security expert Dževad Galijašević told SRNA that anyone who glorifies the figure and misdeeds of Alija Izetbegović glorifies a member of the convicted group “Young Muslims,” which was a branch of the “Muslim Brotherhood” organization, thereby glorifying jihad, terrorism, and the breakup of BiH.

Reacting to the glorification of Alija Izetbegović on the public broadcaster BHRT, Galijašević pointed out that Izetbegović was a legally convicted collaborator and Nazi associate, having been convicted in 1946 for cooperation with the occupiers.

"Today, in the Federation of BiH /FBiH/, they deny the genocidal nature of the Second World War and glorify war criminals from that war, as was the case in Zenica and other places, and even broadcast on the public service," Galijašević emphasized.

He reiterated that Alija Izetbegović was legally convicted by the Yugoslav Anti-Fascist Court and that he continued down the path of Islamism.

“The branch of the ‘Muslim Brotherhood’ brought him to power in BiH with the recommendation that he was the author of the ‘Islamic Declaration,’ which is a program of radicalization. His goal was the Islamization and building of an Islamic society and the creation of an Islamic state,” Galijašević explained.

He emphasized that Izetbegović succeeded in radically Islamizing Sarajevo, from where war-mongering, Serbophobic, and anti-Christian messages are broadcast.

“Political systems are being abused to try Serbs, while Croats have their representatives chosen. Political Sarajevo is the guardian of the idea of an Islamic terrorist BiH,” Galijašević said.

Galijašević added that Alija Izetbegović built the entire system of Islamic organizations in BiH and integrated it into the global terrorist network.

“And today, Bosnian Muslims, followers of that idea, have their terrorists in the world, commanded by Nusret Imamović from Maoča, whom BiH does not pursue, just as it does not pursue Sakib Mahmuljin. Mahmuljin is Alija’s general,” Galijašević said.

He concluded that BiH cannot be Islamic in the current international constellation and with Serbs and Croats within it.
