BANJA LUKA, FEBRUARY 1 /SRNA/ – SNSD Leader Milorad Dodik says he will insist this year that Russia vetoes the extension of the Althea mission in BiH before the UN Security Council and that the mission be abolished, as it serves only as a threat and as a reason for Muslims to engage in harassment.
Dodik noted that a year ago, within the EUFOR command, there were discussions about applying to him the same scenario used against Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, which was opposed by the Republika Srpska police.
He emphasized that Republika Srpska today, judging by the behaviour of its governing structures, is one of the most sovereign and freest countries in the region.
"The key to our existence is freedom," Dodik told RTRS.
He says that Republika Srpska has agreed to host the UK’s special envoy, Karen Pierce, in Banja Luka in the coming days. She, he says, created the Bonn Powers and recently boasted about them in the United States.
"She will be hosted by the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Savo Minić, who will tell her that we do not welcome her favorably, that she is the Serbs and Republika Srpska’s enemy, and that she cannot expect any understanding from our side. We are not running away from telling her this directly, while the opposition applauds her," Dodik added.
He stresses that Minić will use the best of himself to show arrogance toward the consequences of the Bonn Powers and the dirty British policy in BiH.
Dodik assesses that BiH is a completely impossible and broken country, already divided, the border of which was established by the Dayton Peace Agreement.
"We are asking Muslims to understand the moment we are in, to accept solutions that are not humiliating for us, and to talk about it. If that does not happen, we will have to finish the matter from our defensive position,2 Dodik said.
He adds that this is why he is seeking friends in the world - in Moscow, Israel, the United States, and Hungary.
