DEĐANSKI: OUTPOURING OF HATRED AGAINST SERBS A CONSEQUENCE OF BOSNIAK AUTHORITIES' ACTIONS

BELGRADE, DECEMBER 1 /SRNA/ - The outpouring of hatred against Serbs at the basketball match between the Serbian and BiH national teams in Sarajevo is a consequence of the actions of Bosniak politicians, political analyst Stevica Deđanski said.

According to him, since the Bosniak politicians in power do nothing, are incompetent, and have no results in any field, they resort to promoting hatred against Serbs, which, due to Bosniak media and political propaganda, still yields results.

"That is their policy. I have long said that they have no other policy because they offer nothing. If they provided something tangible to citizens, so that people could feel some improvement, that they were doing and creating something, of course, they would no longer focus on Serbia and Serbs," Deđanski told SRNA.

He notes that he is always surprised that in Sarajevo, when such incidents occur, they do not even find it appropriate to issue a formal apology.

Deđanski says he expects this kind of behavior from Sarajevo to remain a regular occurrence until people come to power who focus on economic development rather than on spreading hatred.

"They are expected to act this way, and it will continue until their voters say: `Hey, we've had enough of being lied to; it's time to actually do something,` and bring to power leaders who focus not on hatred, but on developing the economy, which in turn will improve our relations and stabilize the situation," said Deđanski.

Serbia's basketball team defeated BiH 74:72 last night in Sarajevo in the second round of World Cup qualifiers.

Serbian basketball players were met with hostility in Sarajevo. Bosnian fans booed during the playing of Serbia's national anthem, "Bože pravde" /`O God of Justice`/, and waved war flags of the so-called Army of BiH, under which numerous crimes were committed against the Serb population.

During the first half, insults directed at Serbia's President Aleksandar Vučić and the country could be heard from the stands.
