CVIJANOVIĆ: NIKŠIĆ'S APOLOGY TO ČOVIĆ SPEAKS ABOUT DEPLORABLE RELATIONS IN COUNTRY

ANTALYA, APRIL 12 /SRNA/ - Chairperson and Serb Member of the Presidency Željka Cvijanović says that Federal Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić's public acknowledgment that he apologized to HDZ BiH Leader Dragan Čović for the adoption of the Law on Southern Gas Interconnection speaks again of deplorable relations in BiH.

Cvijanović says it is regrettable that one accepts that someone beyond their own authority imposes and dictates what they will say, keeping them on a video link telling how to vote for a law.

She has pointed to the awareness in Republika Srpska of the representatives, elected by the people, sovereignly deciding on certain matters.

"Of course, then the difference between Republika Srpska and such groups in society is visible," Cvijanović said during the Diplomatic Forum in Antalya.

She has pointed to Republika Srpska’s position in that no ambassador can order who will vote.

"Then we come to an additional pathetic phase. Then you apologize for that and try to buy some favour today because you were so unfair and behaved so unhealthy towards someone who is your coalition partner," Cviajnović told RTRS.

Cvijanović emphasized that this is an unhealthy image of BiH and that she is glad that this unhealthy image does not reside in Republika Srpska.
