CVIJANOVIĆ MEETS ALIYEV, TALKS FOCUS ON GLOBAL POLITICAL AND SECURITY CHALLENGES

BAKU, MARCH 12 /SRNA/ – Within her visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović has met today in Baku with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and exchanged views on the current political, economic, and security situation in the world, as well as on ongoing regional and global challenges.

Cvijanović expressed solidarity with the people of Azerbaijan and voiced full support for the efforts of President Aliyev and all institutions of Azerbaijan to ensure a peaceful and stable environment for their citizens and the region as a whole, by advancing regional stability through dialogue and cooperation.

The meeting also addressed further improvement of bilateral relations and cooperation with Azerbaijan in various areas, with particular emphasis on the implementation of infrastructure projects in Republika Srpska, according to a statement from the Office of the Serb member of the BiH Presidency.

The Serb member of the Presidency also informed her interlocutor on the current political situation in BiH, the consequences of foreign interventionism, and efforts to return the decision-making process to domestic institutions within constitutional and democratic frameworks.
