CVIJANOVIĆ: KONAKOVIĆ HAS UNDERMINED MINISTRY’S CREDIBILITY, HIS LETTERS ARE MERE PAMPHLETS

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, JANUARY 29 /SRNA/ – The Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović has pointed out that Elmedin Konaković, as foreign minister, has further undermined the credibility of the Ministry, turning BiH foreign policy into a retaliatory campaign against Milorad Dodik, Republika Srpska, and every Serb who stands as a barrier to an invasive Greater Bosniak political agenda.

Cvijanović stated that the letters and protest notes written by Konaković are nothing more than pamphlets, adding that he has no right to lecture Israel, or any other country, since he has failed to act even within the framework of his own country’s Constitution.

"He effectively sought to block all of my foreign-policy activities, even stopping official correspondence, discriminating against me in relation to the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency. This is something Bosniak staff have done for years across institutions at the BiH level. But those manipulations and usurpations have come to an end," Cvijanović said.

She pointed out that for Konaković, any country that has not turned against Republika Srpska and has not succumbed to Sarajevo’s manipulations is a problem.

"As for the labels he uses when speaking about President Milorad Dodik and the Acting President of Republika Srpska Ana Trišić Babić, there is no need to waste words," Cvijanović stated.

She stressed that these are absurdities and the result of frustration over a failed plan whereby Sarajevo politicians, together with high representatives and European judges in the Constitutional Court, have turned BiH into a sick patient on life support.

Cvijanović added that Republika Srpska is not to blame for the situation in BiH, but rather the incompetent and biased Konaković and an entire network of Bosniak ambassadors whose diplomatic activity amounts solely to smearing Republika Srpska around the world.

"Ultimately, even at home, his politics has boiled down to promoting the opposition in Republika Srpska, to whom he is unknowingly doing a disservice. The views expressed by Konaković are not the views of Republika Srpska, nor of any BiH ambassador from among the Serb people," Cvijanović stressed.
