ISTANBUL, MARCH 22 /SRNA/ - Serb Member and Chairwoman of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, has pointed out at the meeting with the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, that BiH is facing the biggest crisis since the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement, which, like all previous ones, was induced by internationals’ illegal interventionism in BiH.
During today's meeting in Istanbul, which was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Hakan Fidan, the Serb Member and Chairperson of the BiH Presidency informed the interlocutors about the political and constitutional crisis in BiH, the Presidency of BiH announced.
Cvijanović has stressed that the current crisis was caused by an unelected foreigner who illegally amended the criminal code and instrumentalized the judiciary, with the aim of politically eliminating the legitimate and democratically elected president of Republika Srpska.
During the conversation, Cvijanović has assessed that the security situation in BiH is not threatened, and that all challenges are of an exclusively political nature.
In this context, Cvijanović pointed out that the only way to overcome them is to eliminate the negative causes and consequences of international interventionism in BiH, the dialogue of democratically elected representatives and assuming full sovereignty and responsibility for all processes by local institutions.
Cvijanović thanked the President of Turkey for his willingness to listen to all parties in BiH, as well as for his principled commitment to internal dialogue of representatives of all constituent peoples.
