CVIJANOVIĆ EXPRESSES CONDOLENCES TO TRUMP OVER THE LOSS OF YOUNG LIVES IN LOUISIANA

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, APRIL 19 /SRNA/ - The Serb member of the Presidency of BiH, Željka Cvijanović, sent a telegram of condolence to U.S. President Donald Trump and the American people following a mass shooting in Louisiana, in which, according to initial reports, eight children were killed.

“With great sadness and disbelief I received the news of the shooting in Louisiana and the tragic loss of young lives, including a one-year-old child. In these difficult moments for you and your country, please accept my deepest condolences. I extend sincere sympathy to the parents and families of the victims,” Cvijanović said in the telegram.

Cvijanović wished the injured a swift and successful recovery, and wished all those mourning strength and courage to cope with the aftermath of this brutal attack, according to a press release from the Office of the Serb member of the Presidency of BiH.

Eight children aged between one and 14 were killed in a shooting in the U.S. state of Louisiana, AP reported.

Police said the children were among 10 people who were shot during a “family dispute,” but stressed that the details of the investigation are still being clarified and established.
