CVIJANOVIĆ: ERA OF IMPOSING SANCTIONS IS OVER

TESLIĆ, AUGUST 8 /SRNA /– The Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović has said today in Teslić that the days when sanctions were imposed to satisfy the wishes of one side seeking to act against another in BiH are over.

"The sooner they understand this, the more successful their lives, and those of their communities, will be," Cvijanović told reporters, commenting on calls by Srebrenica Memorial Center Director Emir Suljagić for certain foreign actors to impose sanctions on the leadership of Republika Srpska.

She said that Bosniak political actors had still not turned their attention to themselves, the development of the Federation of BiH, or ways to establish good relations and cooperation with the people with whom they live together in BiH.

"Unfortunately, they always rely on some foreign powers, calling on them to impose sanctions and perform some other miracles," Cvijanović said.
