CVIJANOVIĆ: CHALLENGES IN BiH OF POLITICAL, NOT SECURITY NATURE

SARAJEVO, APRIL 7 /SRNA/ - The Serbian member and Chairwoman of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, emphasized in her conversation with members of the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee that the only way to overcome the crisis in BiH is through dialogue between domestic representatives of both entities and all peoples within democratic institutions, as well as removing all consequences of the illegal interventionism of Christian Schmidt.

Cvijanović pointed out that the challenges in BiH are political rather than security-related, and that Sarajevo politicians are attempting to attract international attention with talks of war, says a press release from the Serbian member's office.

She said that the EU's approach and statements regarding BiH are often one-sided and unbalanced, and that in this context, there are many prejudices, says the press release from the BiH Presidency.

The current political crisis in BiH, caused by the illegal interventionism of the unelected foreigner Christian Schmidt, was discussed at a meeting with members of the Committee, Ondrej Kolar, Tineke Strik, and Antonio Tanger Correa.

The meeting was also attended by the Head of the BiH Mission to the EU, Obrad Kesić, and the Head of the EU Delegation to BiH, Luigi Soreca.
