ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, DECEMBER 10 /SRNA/ - SNSD MP in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Milorad Kojić stated that the President of Naša Stranka party Sabina Ćudić is effectively the bankruptcy administrator of both her political party and the EU, and therefore has no right to accuse SNSD of obstructing the European path of BiH, nor to criticize the Acting President of Republika Srpska Ana Trišić-Babić.
He said that Ćudić persistently attempts to portray herself-even in the very House of Representatives where she serves as an MP-as a staunch European, but only on a declarative level.
"Apparently, she does not want to admit to her partners in the EU that by making grand promises, she places herself in the position of a bankruptcy administrator," Kojić noted.
Responding to Ćudić's criticism of Acting President of Republika Srpska Ana Trišić-Babić, in which she called BiH's efforts on the path toward the EU futile, Kojić stressed that Trišić-Babić has been dealing with international relations for many years and is someone who understands them better than anyone in BiH.
"The Bosniaks want to present themselves-again, only declaratively - as those who seek EU membership, while at the same time running to /Christian/ Schmidt, the so-called High Representative, to report information and ask him to abolish the competences of Republika Srpska," he stated.
Kojić pointed out the essential question: can a protectorate, such as BiH, become a member of the EU?
"Clearly, the EU will not and cannot accept that, no matter how much Ćudić tries to present herself as the smartest, while claiming we understand nothing about the processes taking place in BiH. This only confirms her role as the bankruptcy administrator of her own political party, placing her into political retirement as early as the next elections," Kojić said.
He recalled that SNSD has proposed the largest number of EU-related laws, while representatives of Naša Stranka have proposed nothing - except measures aimed at abolishing Republika Srpska.
"Ćudić cannot lecture anyone, including Ana Trišić-Babić, who has long-standing experience in international relations," Kojić stressed.
Ćudić had earlier described Ana Trišić-Babić's statement - that BiH's attempts on its European path are futile and that Republika Srpska possesses the full infrastructure/mechanisms necessary to open negotiations with the EU - as pathetic, and accused SNSD of denying BiH its European perspective.
