CRIME AGAINST SERBS ON GLOĐANSKO HILL WAS ONE OF THE MOST BRUTAL

ZVORNIK, JULY 13 /SRNA/ - One of the most brutal crimes was committed by members of the so-called Army of BiH under the command of Naser Orić on November 6, 1992, on Glođansko Hill in Zvornik, where they killed 126 Serbian civilians and fighters and according to the testimony of the late pathologist Zoran Stanković, some victims were found heartless, and some had their tongues cut out.

Muslim soldiers on Glođansko Hill committed the murders in a cruel and monstrous manner. The bodies of the nine people killed then have not yet been found.

The bodies of Miladin Ložnjaković, Borisav Mihajlović, Miladin Nedić, Ratko Prodanović, Bogdan Radović, Viktor and Aleksa Savić, Đorđe Stevanović and Miloš Zelenović, who were aged 25 to 40 at the time, have not been found.

On that sad November day, the Glođansko Hill echoed with the cries, screams, and pleas of Serb martyrs as Naser Orić's executioners cut off parts of their bodies, nailed them to trees, cut out their throats, castrated them, and burned them alive...

Among the Muslim warriors, Muhamed Čikarić, former commander of the 6th Kamenica Detachment of the so-called Army of BiH, stood out.

"Serbs were hanged on trees, chopped, burned and tortured in the most brutal ways, their eyes were gouged out, body parts were cut off. Many victims were found without heads," emphasized Branimir Kojić, president of the Organization of Families of Captured and Killed Fighters and Missing Civilians of Srebrenica.

According to the book "Testimony about the Unpunished Crime against Serbs in Podrinje," Kojić pointed out that Glođansko Hill is one of the most striking examples of the killing of Serbs being permitted because no one has yet been brought to justice knowingly.

"They are waiting for the witnesses to die, for those who committed crimes of such proportions to escape like Kemal Mehmedović, like Mahmuljin, like Prevljak, or to die like Zulfo Tursunović," said Kojić.

He said that it is devastating that no one has yet been prosecuted for these crimes, which is why the Court of BiH is tearing the hearts out of the families of those killed.

Kojić pointed out that this crime shows how the Serbs of Podrinje would have fared if the Army of Republika Srpska had not been formed, stating that it was obvious that there was a plan to clear Serbs all the way to the Drina.

"The Court of BiH will never be an institution that administers justice as long as this and similar crimes are not prosecuted, as long as those who ripped the hearts out of Serbs' chests are at large, as long as they hold the highest positions in local communities or at the state level, as long as Naser Orić and his murderers walk free, now as businessmen, when in fact they should have been rotting in prison a long time ago because for us families they are nothing more than war criminals," said Kojić.

He pointed out that the Court of BiH is now tearing the hearts out of the families of those who laid down their lives here simply because they were guarding their homes.

"That is what particularly hurts us, what is the biggest problem in this messed-up BiH. We have no right to remain silent about such crimes. Our sacred obligation is to visit the places of suffering, to teach the younger generations with whom and next to whom we live, to constantly talk about such suffering because I believe that even today there is a plan to ensure that there are no Serbs in these areas," said Kojić.

A memorial plaque was erected at the site of the tragedy on several occasions, but each time, after it was erected, unknown vandals broke it, while one shot was fired at the existing one. /end/
