SARAJEVO, APRIL 17 /SRNA/ – The Prosecutor's Office of BiH told SRNA that a case has been opened against the organisers of a gathering in Tuzla who announced the marking of the so-called Army of BiH Day using posters featuring the image of convicted war criminal Sakib Mahmuljin.

The Prosecutor's Office stated that the case has been assigned to a prosecutor for further work in order to verify the allegations from complaints filed by a private individual and the Republika Srpska War Veterans Organisation /BORS/.

Earlier, BORS said that criminal complaints had been filed against the chief imam of the Islamic Community Majlis in Tuzla Ahmed Huskanović, the president of the Majlis Amir Karić, the coordinator of the Youth Network from Tuzla Nihad Ibrišević, and the director of the Bosnian Cultural Centre of Tuzla Canton, Sead Mumić, for offending the feelings of families of fallen Serb soldiers.

BORS also recalled that Mahmuljin is a convicted war criminal under whose command beheadings and other horrific crimes against Serbs were committed in the Ozren–Vozuća battlefield area.
