AT BUBIĆ’S REQUEST, APPELLATE PANEL SESSION POSTPONED TO 4:00 PM

SARAJEVO, JUNE 12 /SRNA/ – The session of the Appellate Panel of the non-constitutional Court of BiH has been postponed to 4:00 PM, following a request from Goran Bubić, the attorney representing the President of Republika Srpska, who demanded the recusal of Presiding Judge Vesna Jesenković and panel member Hilmo Vučinić.

Bubić explained that judges who had previously participated in the case against the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik could not sit on the panel.

He clarified that these two judges had been involved in decisions to reject the defense's request for the case, originally led before the non-constitutional Court of BiH against President Dodik and acting director of the Official Gazette of Srpska Miloš Lukić to be transferred to a court in Banja Luka.
