SARAJEVO, JUNE 23 /SRNA/ - After more than six months of delay, the truncated Constitutional Court of BiH has placed the review of the constitutionality of Christian Schmidt’s interventions in the Criminal Code of BiH on the agenda of its session.

The appeal filed by the SNSD Caucus in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, seeking a constitutional review of certain provisions of the Criminal Code of BiH imposed by Schmidt, is on the agenda of the session of the truncated Constitutional Court of BiH scheduled for July 2 and 3.

Officials at the Court previously told SRNA that the review of the constitutionality of the provisions of the Criminal Code of BiH imposed by Schmidt is a complex matter, which is why no decision has been made even after six months.

The Court stated that the request for a constitutional review, submitted by the SNSD Caucus in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, was registered under case number U-43/25.

A parliamentary question regarding the delay in rendering a decision was also submitted to the truncated Constitutional Court of Bih by Sanja Vulić, head of the SNSD Caucus in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH. In its response, the Court stated that case U-43/25 would soon be placed on the agenda.
