AMIDŽIĆ: LARGEST BUDGET INCREASE DIRECTED AT SALARY AND ALLOWANCE GROWTH FOR EMPLOYEES

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, JULY 10 /SRNA/ - The Minister of Finance and Treasury in the Council of Ministers, Srđan Amidžić, confirmed that the Presidency of BiH unanimously adopted the Draft Budget of the Institutions of BiH for 2026 according to the proposal of the line ministry, and added that the largest increase is directed at the growth of salaries and allowances of employees in the joint institutions.

"This improves the material position of workers," Amidžić stated on the social network "X".

He emphasized that, at the same time, the budget provides funds for the implementation of key development projects, the reconstruction of cross-border bridges, the functioning and development of border crossings, the digitalization of the customs system by introducing NCTS, and, for the first time, budget funds for the vaccination of livestock.

"This budget improves the position of employees, strengthens institutional capacities, and creates conditions for the implementation of development projects of strategic importance," Amidžić added.

The Presidency of BiH adopted the Draft Budget of the Institutions of BiH for this year in the amount of BAM 1.58 billion, and Minister Amidžić was authorized as the rapporteur in the Parliamentary Assembly.
