SARAJEVO, APRIL 22 /SRNA/ - The Minister of Finance and Treasury in the Council of Ministers, Srđan Amidžić, said that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Elmedin Konaković, brought into question the functioning of all institutions by not supporting the adoption of the budget of BiH institutions.

Amidžić pointed out that it is not only a matter of the verdict in the "Viaduct" case, but also of salaries and salary increases for everyone in joint institutions.

"That increase is foreseen in the budget for 2025, which we cannot adopt, and the institutions, on the other hand, cannot enter the phase of normal functioning," Amidžić told journalists in Sarajevo after the session of the Council of Ministers.

He pointed out that one of the European conditions is the adoption of the budget, which until now was blocked at one point in the Presidency of BiH by Bosniak member Denis Bećirović, and now Konaković is doing it.

Amidžić said that at the previous session of the Council of Ministers, the ministry headed by him was given the task of submitting technical corrections to the budget, while instructions were only received that the correction of the budget should go in the direction of direct transfers.

"At that time, it was said that salaries, material costs and some expenses for non-financial assets should not be touched, and colleagues /Edin/ Forto and Konaković also voted for that," said Amidžić and added that the Ministry of Finance and Treasury acted accordingly.

Amidžić stated that he and the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Staša Košarac, bore the burden of blocking something, but that in the last month it turned out that the blockages were coming from a different address.

He pointed out that at today's session of the Council of Ministers, a solution was found for the functioning of the Agency for the provision of services in air navigation of BiH /BHANSA/, considering that the funds of this agency were blocked due to the verdict in the "Viaduct" case.

"Everyone in BHANSA will have a regular income and nothing related to this agency will be called into question," said Amidžić.

He expressed his regret that the same proposal that he proposed 15 days ago together with Košarac was only adopted today.

"I don't understand why we were hassled and had a situation of unnecessary nervousness, but this is BiH. We are glad that our proposal was adopted and that BHANSA will be able to function normally," said Amidžić.

He says that he doesn't understand Bosniak political leaders, who are currently scattered around the world and who are not focused on what they insist on and what their job is.

Amidžić said that when there is a problem related to the Department of Communications and Transport, Minister Edin Forto always finds a reason to travel somewhere.
