ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, AUGUST 13 /SRNA/ - Council of Ministers Deputy Chairman Staša Košarac said, following a complaint filed against Minister of Finance and Treasury Srđan Amidžić, that Republika Srpska would not allow decisions lacking constitutional and democratic legitimacy to be enforced through political persecution.
Košarac said that the complaint filed by Emir Suljagić, director of the Srebrenica Memorial Centre, against Amidžić represents yet another in a series of political pressures on Republika Srpska and its representatives at the BiH level.
He said that Bosniak political forces continue to use the judiciary for political confrontation with Republika Srpska, stressing that Amidžić is performing his duties responsibly and professionally.
"Republika Srpska will not accept imposed solutions, nor will it allow decisions lacking constitutional and democratic legitimacy to be enforced through political persecution," Košarac posted on X.
Emir Suljagić, director of the Srebrenica Memorial Centre, filed a complaint against Minister of Finance and Treasury in the Council of Ministers Srđan Amidžić over what he claims is the "failure to implement the High Representative’s decisions from 2023" concerning the centre.
