ISSUES WILL BE RESOLVED THROUGH REFERENDUM, EXPECTATIONS THAT ALL PARTIES WILL BOYCOTT CEC ELECTIONS

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 3 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik stated that all issues in Srpska will be resolved through referendums, and that he expects all other parties to accept the decision to boycott the elections announced by the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH.

Dodik noted that a referendum will first decide on whether to accept a court that is unconstitutional, and then on the CEC’s decision.

“I am most disappointed with what is called the EU,” Dodik told RTRS, adding that the Constitution cannot be derogated and then a dialogue expected.

He pointed out that he could have chosen a life of comfort, but instead chose the struggle for Republika Srpska, explaining that he has been involved in this for too long and that is why there are attempts to remove him, because he remembers too much.

“We are in a crisis imposed by Christian Schmidt, and it is connected to the non-functioning of the Dayton Agreement,” Dodik stated.

He expects that all other parties will accept the decision on the boycott, stressing that no one in Republika Srpska is calling for elections, not even the opposition, and that some are only now speaking out.

“I call on them to unite around the decision of the National Assembly not to participate in the elections. If they do, they will violate that decision, which means they are obedient to Sarajevo and Schmidt. We shall see – time is the best judge, and there is no better interpreter of who is right than the people,” Dodik stated.

Regarding the new Government, Dodik stated that everyone is united in the same goal, and he thanked those who have worked in the Government until now.

Dodik also noted that there are always those who dispute something, saying it is primitive not to wait for answers, which can only be done by those who hate Republika Srpska.

“Those are Schmidt’s units, SDS, PDP and the ‘Justice for Order’ List. That is why they are losing in the polls. They are the worst that Republika Srpska has,” Dodik stressed.

On dialogue in BiH, Dodik said that it will take place when the other two sides show desire, underlining that the arguments are on the side of Srpska.

“Prime Minister Minić said it well: if someone is dissatisfied, submit an objection – and we have been objecting for a long time, and it is time to submit a proposal to terminate the agreement,” Dodik stated.
